FOR FOUNDERS, CEOs + MARKETING LEADS
WHO DON'T WANT TO START 2027 WITH ANOTHER ROUND OF GUESSWORK

You know the number you want to hit in 2027
Where is the growth actually going to come from?

Maybe you want another $500k. Another $1m. Or you want to experience your strongest year yet.
Before that becomes another marketing plan full of campaigns, content, ads and ideas, there's a more useful question to answer:

  • What created the business you have now?
  • Which customers created the most value?
  • Which offers performed best?
  • Where did your strongest enquiries come from?
  • What converted?
  • What changed?
  • What appears to have influenced the result?

Because if you're trying to get from where you are right now - to there, the big goal for next year - it's worth understanding what has created your results so far.

Then we can work out where the next stage of growth could come from, and what job marketing needs to do to support it.

YOUR 2027 MARKETING PLAN SHOULD KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN 2026

We're going to get your marketing S#%^ sorted

WHERE IS THE GROWTH?
Where could your next stage of revenue plausibly come from?

WHAT'S MARKETING'S JOB?
More of your best customers? Better conversion? Stronger positioning? Greater customer value? More demand? Something else entirely?

WHAT DESERVES INVESTMENT?
What gets more budget, what gets fixed, what gets tested, what stops — and what is already doing its job perfectly well.

WHAT HAPPENS FIRST?
What needs to happen before January, and what belongs in Q1.

Our biggest gripe?
Marketing activity for activity's sake.
A pretty content calendar full of campaigns with no clear commercial reasoning behind them.
Another shiny idea added because nobody has confidently decided what matters most.

Not by adding another seventeen random ideas to the plan....
But by deciding what marketing actually needs to accomplish.

As Soon As You Confirm Your Registration, The *Work* Begins...

You'll complete your Bohemia Business Brief covering your 2027 growth target, 2026 sales, customers, offers, marketing activity and the decisions you're heading into Q1 needing to make.

Before the event, you'll hear from me personally with the areas I think deserve our attention on the day.

Before the day, I'll personally review your brief.
I'm looking for the patterns, discrepancies and questions worth bringing into the room: where value appears to concentrate, what changed, what doesn't quite add up and what I'd want to understand before making the next marketing decision.

You'll receive your official welcome and introduction to day.

I review your brief before day.

step one

step two

step three

On The Day

We'll move between short strategic teaching, focused work on your own business, live discussion and individual time with me.
You'll have your business open in front of you. We'll work through the decisions that matter, test what you currently believe against what the evidence tells us and decide what deserves action.
You won't spend the day learning how to make a marketing plan. You'll spend it making yours.

The Q1 Plan Day is *not* the kind of [work]shop where you are taught to, sold to, sat for 7 hours while you diligently fill in a workbook and leave with seventeen vague ideas to add to the marketing list.
No, Sir.

Have a Marketing Manager? Bring them along.

If you have someone responsible for turning business goals into marketing activity, having them in the room can make the day considerably more valuable.
The day is not designed to inspect their work and rip it to shreds - quite the opposite.
Leadership brings the commercial context.
Your marketing person brings what they're seeing in the work every day.
I bring the external strategic lens.
We put the same evidence on the table and make the decisions together.

There will be morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea plus copious amounts of tea, coffee and snacks.

step four

The room should feel closer to a working studio - not a conference.
And no, I am not secretly waiting until 3:25pm to sell you a twelve-month coaching program.

By 4pm you'll have...

You'll know where you're trying to go, where you believe the growth can come from, what marketing needs to do about it — and what you're doing first.

01. YOUR 2027 GROWTH PLAN
A clearer view of where your next stage of revenue could plausibly come from, based on what your customers, sales, offers, buyer behaviour and marketing performance are already telling us.

02. MARKETING'S JOB
What marketing needs to influence, improve, create or protect to support that growth.

03. THE DECISIONS
What deserves more investment. What needs fixing. What should be tested. What can stop. And what should remain completely untouched because it's already doing its job.

04. YOUR FIRST 60 DAYS
The three to five actions that deserve attention first, so you're not entering January with a revenue target and another enormous marketing list.

After The Q1 Plan Day

Not a generic workshop recap. A concise record of the decisions we've made, the opportunities you've prioritised, the work that needs to happen, the signals worth watching and any questions we still need to answer.
So the thinking doesn't disappear the moment everyone goes back to work on Monday.

Afterwards, you'll receive your personalised 60-Day Commercial Marketing Priorities.

The goal isn't to leave with more marketing ideas.

It's to leave confident in the decisions you're making next, because you understand what they're based on.
We get there by looking at your commercial performance, your marketing, your customers and how your buyers actually behave — then working out what that means for Q1.

Why November 2026?

November gives us enough of 2026 to learn from — and enough time left to do something useful with what we find.
Maybe an offer needs refining. A conversion problem needs fixing. Your agency needs a different brief. Messaging needs work. A campaign needs building. Budget needs reallocating. Or something that's quietly consuming money needs to stop.
The aim is to arrive in January already moving.

Because if you have ambitious plans for 2027, January is late to start working out how you're going to achieve them.

This Is For You If...

✓ “We're spending more on marketing than we ever have. I'm just not convinced we know which parts are actually driving the result.”

✓ “We had our best quarter ever. Great. Now can somebody tell me why, so we can do it again?”

✓ “We want to grow from $2m to $3m next year. I need to understand what our marketing actually needs to do differently for that extra $1m to happen.”

✓ You have people doing marketing, but the important strategic decisions still make their way back to leadership.

✓ You are increasingly uninterested in adding another tactic until you've decided what problem marketing actually needs to solve.

The Q1 Plan Day is designed for businesses that have

The Q1 Plan Day is designed for businesses that already have customers, revenue and marketing underway — and are making increasingly consequential decisions about what happens next.

The Method

The day is built around Bohemia's Four Signals — the areas I use to investigate what's happening, understand why, and decide what deserves attention next. Before the new year starts is the perfect time to get these signals sorted.

POSITION
What does the market understand about you?

BEHAVIOUR
What are buyers actually doing?

PERFORMANCE
What is producing commercial results?

DIRECTION
Given what we now understand, what does marketing need to do next?

We don't look at any one signal in isolation.
The useful part is understanding the relationships between them, where they align, where they contradict each other and what those relationships mean for the decisions ahead.

Hi! I'm Sarah

I've spent more than 20 years inside businesses trying to understand a question I still find ridiculously interesting:
Why did that work?
I've worked across 7–9 figure businesses, which means I've seen enough marketing to know that the obvious explanation isn't always the useful one.
I like getting inside a business, talking to the people closest to the customer, looking at what buyers are actually doing, following the commercial result and asking the second question.
The numbers matter. So do the things your customers say, what your sales team keeps noticing, the offer that suddenly takes off, the campaign everyone thinks worked and the weird little pattern nobody has investigated yet.
My job isn't to arrive with a predetermined answer.
It's to help us work out what's happening, what it means commercially and what your marketing should do next.
And yes, I genuinely love this stuff. I'm considerably more excited about getting inside your business than any reasonable person probably should be.

One day with laser focus on your business results and the signals behind them - worked through strategically until the plan forward is crystal clear.

A few things you should know before we workshop together:

Is this just a day looking at spreadsheets and marketing metrics?

God, no.
Your numbers are where we begin because they tell us what has happened. The useful work is understanding why.
We’ll look at sales, enquiries, offers, customers, conversion, marketing activity and whatever other evidence is useful for your business. Then we’ll connect that with buyer behaviour, positioning, messaging and what your team is seeing on the ground.
You do not need to arrive loving spreadsheets. That’s my job.

what data do i need to bring with me?

Once you register, you’ll receive your Bohemia Business Brief. It will show you exactly what to gather before the day.
Depending on your business, that might include sales figures, enquiry or lead data, CRM information, campaign results, website analytics, customer information and recent marketing activity.
If your data is imperfect, scattered across three systems or accompanied by a sheepish “we probably should be tracking this better”, you can still come.
That tells us something too.

Very directly.
Marketing decisions become considerably easier when we understand what customers are buying, where leads are disappearing, which offers are performing, what objections keep appearing and where revenue is actually coming from.
We use that evidence to make better decisions about positioning, messaging, content, campaigns, channels, offers and investment.
The aim isn't to leave with more marketing to do. It's to know which marketing deserves doing.

how is this connected to marketing and content strategy?

Yes — and in many cases it will make the day more useful.
The Data Day sits at the strategic decision-making level. We're investigating what is happening commercially and deciding what marketing should prioritise as a result.
If you have a Marketing Manager, I strongly encourage you to bring them. They can participate in the work and leave understanding exactly what deserves attention next.
If you work with an external agency, the decisions we make can also give them a much clearer strategic brief.

Is The Data Day suitable if we already have a Marketing Manager or agency?

What will I actually leave with?

By 4pm, you should have a much clearer explanation of what is driving your current results, the strongest opportunities we've identified, the marketing decisions that follow from them and your immediate priorities.
After the day, I'll turn the work into your personalised 60-Day Commercial Marketing Priorities so the thinking doesn't disappear into a notebook when you get back to the office.
You leave knowing what happens next — and why.

Possibly, but that's not who The Data Day has primarily been designed for.
It's built for established businesses with customers, sales and enough commercial activity for us to investigate. You may already be growing well.
The question is whether you can confidently explain why you're getting the results you're getting, where the strongest opportunities are, and where your next marketing dollar should go.
If those questions are becoming increasingly expensive to answer on instinct, you'll probably get a lot from the room.

Fill in the application form and answer all the questions.
Sarah will contact you to confirm attendance and your spot is saved as soon as your invoice is paid. The investment is $995 Australian dollars per person. If you want to bring along a second person from your team, the rate is $695 for the second person.
Start here.
